What to doMUSEUMS: ABBA the Museum, Vasa Museum, Museum of Spirits, Nobel Museum SHOPPING: IKEA (second largest in the world), Hornstulls marknad (fun flea market on Saturday and Sunday) , Vasastan (neighborhood for good shopping for antiques), Gamla Stan (souvenirs and local shops) ACTIVITIES: Parks BBQ or eat dinner in a park, you can drink alcohol in certain parks too, great time to watch the sunset Swim sit or swim in one of the many lakes surrounding Stockholm, just like a local in the summer time Fika tradition of having coffee or tea and something sweet in the afternoon What to seeVisit Stockholm City Hall for an amazing view over the water Walk along Monteliusvägen for a great view of the city and the best place to watch the sunset See the Stockholm Palace where the Swedish Royal family lives Walk through Stockholm's Old Town, on the island Gamla Stan Visit Djurgården Island to see great museums and a little piece of nature in the city what to eat and whereTraditional food: gravlax, meatballs and pickled herring Magnolia: Asian restaurant in Sodermalm right near Monteliusvägen Hornstulls Marknad: food truck and other little bites for a quick lunch, great park near by to sit in and eat Stockholm Brunch Club: great brunch food in a fun environment, sit outside if it is a nice day Pom and Flora: their scrambled eggs are the best I have ever tasted, really busy on the weekends but food is delicious Bread and Table: great quick breakfast with really good breakfast sandwhiches Eataly: options for quick lunch or longer dinner, food is great and not basic Italian Mr.Cake: famous for their red velvet crossaints, great pastries and nice place to have fika Urban Deli: good place for lunch and fresh seafood for dinner with fun rooftop bar Greasy Spoon: great breakfast/brunch restaurant with fun food options K25: food hall with amazing food, great for lunch or even dinner, the vodka sauce at the Italian station was my favorite but the assorted sushi near the back is also amazing Bird: fried chicken restaurant, very unique and yummy Sturehof: great fresh seafood for a nicer night out and a fun bar area with DJ's later in the night What to drink and whereTraditional drinks: Mulled wine and vodka
