WELCOME!
A semester studying abroad is no doubt a life changing experience. However, it can also be very overwhelming at times. Where do I go on the weekends? How do I get there? Why the heck does this cappuccino cost 1,000 Hungarian Forints?! But do not fear, we are here to help! After traveling abroad ourselves, we have compiled a plethora of recommendations that will help you plan fantastic trips throughout your semester. Here is a little bit about us, happy traveling!
ZOe |
Zoe is a senior at the University of Colorado studying Operations Management. She spent the spring semester of her junior year studying abroad in Florence, Italy. Some of her favorite memories from abroad are the 10 days she spent traveling between Spain and Portugal for Spring Break (minus the aggressive sunburn from Lagos) and watching the sunset at Piazzale Michelangelo for her 21st birthday. Favorite food? Cannolis from Ginos. Favorite quote? “Abroad ~changed~ me.” (please watch video for reference)

Katie |
Katie is currently in her senior year at the University of Colorado studying Marketing. Like most collegians, she also spent the spring semester studying abroad. Katie was Zoe’s roommate in Florence, Italy. The thing she misses the most from Florence is walking across the Arno River to class with a cappuccino in hand. One of her favorite experiences from her time abroad was the weekend adventure she spent in Morocco, hiking in the Atlas Mountains, riding a camel, and bargaining in the markets. The one tip Katie has for future study abroad students is: just because you can find a bottle of wine for €1, doesn’t mean you should drink it.

Rachel |
Rachel is a senior at the University of Colorado studying Digital Marketing with a minor in Technology, Arts and Media. In the spring of 2019 she studied in London, England. Throughout her time abroad she has visited over 20 countries and hopes to share some tips and tricks of what she learned along the way. Her favorite memory abroad was traveling in Italy for spring break, starting in Milan then onto Como, Cinque Terre, Florence and leaving from Rome. The thing she misses most about London is the ability to take the tube anywhere and explore new neighborhoods.
